Rainy Day Ramblings

This morning in the news, I read an article about some rare and expensive dogs found in a west Tulsa. How does 2 Egyptian Pharaoh Hounds tie themselves up to a fence? I think I smell somethin' fishy here.................

Rare Dogs Found Tied To A West Tulsa Fence

Tulsa - Two dogs, found tied up to a fence, are waiting to find their owner. Cleopatra and Isis are Egyptian Pharaoh hounds, a rare and expensive breed of dog. They are especially unusual for this part of the country. Tulsa County sheriffs deputies found the dogs in the 500 block of West 8th Street. They don't know if the dogs were left there or got away from their owners and somehow got their leashes tied up in the fence. Deputies say the dogs are very friendly. "They're really gentle. Everyone they've been around, they're not aggressive or anything. They're good dogs. They're shy actually." The dogs are staying in a good home now. But, deputies are wanting to find their owners.

There are also many youth events such as dummy roping, calf roping, mutton busting, and more fun playday stuff. The events start at 9 am and 7pm. Some vendors attend and there is always good food. Afterwards there is always a huge dance and parties galore. Its a fun, wild and crazy week! But, not too crazy Osage County Sheriff Department neighbors the fairgrounds and also watches over the events so things dont get just TOO wild and crazy.
