NFL Draft Suprise, The Real Me, and You Are What You Eat

Here are some Draft suprises:
1. Matt Leinart, hugely thought of as the most polished/talented QB on the board, falls all the way to 10th! I was so suprised-we all thought he'd be the first one snatched up. Rumor is.. Leinart cost himself a lot of cash by staying in school. But also, there are rumblings in the scouting community about Leinart's arm strength and questions about whether he was simply a product of the system at USC. The Arizona Cardinals were some lucky birds when they found Leinart at 10th.
2. Denver, which reached the AFC Championship Game when Jake Plummer had his best season, trades up to draft QB Jay Cutler 11th overall. Do they know something we dont?
3. The Oakland Raiders go against their being known for and don't draft a single player known for significant off-field issues.Oakland's first-round choice picked safety Michael Huff......hmmmm I am NOT betting on the raiders this season.

So there ya have it, just 3 parts of the complicated and shocking 2006 season's draft. It doesnt look good.............but time will tell, right?

The real me. My CDIB (Indian card) mug shot. Just thought y'all might want to know who's behind all this craziness.

This is the honest truth: I swear by Purina's Equine Senior Horsefeed. My 27 yo gelding has been on it the last 3 years and has never looked better(of course he loves his hay and gets 2 flakes a day of good grass hay plus his pasture grass). People are always asking me how I keep him in such great shape for his age. My answer is:
1. its all about the feed, your horse is just like you, he is what he eats.
2. exercise, keep the older horses on a simple and fairly easy exercise regime. It loosens stiff joints and keeps muscle tissue.
3. regular vet checkups, wormings, and farrier visits. This last reason shouldnt need explained.

Today I am giving my Northern neighbor an ultimatum. He either ties his chow/cur/heinz dog up or else I am giving it a .22 bullet from my .22 mag. This is the LAST morning I am picking up trash from his renegade dog who, my bar-fly neighbor, could give a shit less about. I certainly hope he doesnt take it the wrong way but I hate trash being strewn about my yard and driveway. Also, Ive had to retrieve 1 curry comb and 1 lead rope hauled off by this flea-ridden mutt. I am an animal lover but NOT that big of an animal lover.....besides his dog was just bred last week by every male dog in this part of our county. We had a free porn show all week down the road. The poor school bus driver, he had a bus load of kids driving by and I saw all thier little faces pressed up against the windows getting themselves an eyeful!
