Son #1's last home football game was tonite. It was rescheduled from Monday, the opposing team didnt show because they did not know they were supposed to. Monday, I had a babysitter for Wee One. Tonite, our babysitter couldnt make it, she had to work at her other job. So, I met hubby at the ball field and was able to watch about 2 minutes of the game before Toddler Terror became unmanagable and I had to leave. Last year I told myself, TT will be better next year at the games......well it is next year, and it is only worse...

Anyhow, it was a super close game. But, we lost....by only a couple of points too. I heard son #1 played a great game. 1 QB sack and lots of tackles, and good blocks. I always miss the good stuff....

Wee One and I have to be in Tulsa early Friday morning for his post-op doctors appointment.

I really dont have anything interesting or witty to write today. I feel brain-dead, brain-fog, brain-exhausted, or something along that line. I really, really, need a break from my life......with some adult or equine conversation/interaction, adult or equine activities, anything other than pre-school, being a parent, and domestic related...

I second that suggestion. ANY TIME you need a break, our guest room is yours. We could go round in the golf cart, depending on when you arrive - we could just do girly stuff or make cards. Brian could be our chauffer! Lotsa places to eat. Pack a 3-day bag, dump the kids - let hubby be in charge. Come for a sanity break. We love ya! D :}

Mornin' BG! Love your old guy, he has such personality! I missed my son's name being called 4 times at his away game, so I'm with you on always missing the good stuff. My older 2 were unmanagable, couldn't take them anywhere. My 3rd born, my 4yo son, is perfect (most of the time). Like night & day with the other 2. So, what I'm saying is, 3rd time is a charm, go for it!! :) Happy Friday!

Ok listen sister. That last paragraph. It's me. Honestly. I'm right there with ya. On the way to work today I was thinking, I'm tired of this. Everything is falling apart. I need to be at home for about 4 days straight to get my house caught up. While I'm thinking that I know that if I were home that long I would sleep for half of that.

Great pictures. Try some close ups of that Hay. Maybe from the end of a bale where you can see the row behind it at an agle? I've been looking for a row of round bails like that to shoot. I think it would make a good shot. What camera do you use?

"when I hop out of my car or run across a road, or driveway to get a good pic, I feel like SUCH AN IDIOT! but afterwards, I am happy I took the shot... " ME TOO! Did that just other day. A guy I know stopped and said, "Vicki you broke down?" I said "nope I'm taking a picture of that tree." He said, "Get back in your truck before you kill someone." Mind you it was back road with no traffic. Grouchy Ol Man!
