Karen Heim is Still Missing

Karen Heim is still missing. She has been missing since X-Mas of 2005. Heim's abandoned car was found by Texas deputies on 12/27/05 near Clarksville, Texas. This is an area not far from the Texas-Oklahoma border. Heim's purse and keys were recovered from the vehicle. Back in March of 2006 I first wrote about Heim's disappearance. She is a 42yo woman from Tulsa, Oklahoma, someone's mother and someone's daughter. Heims disappearance is very suspicious by all means. Back in May of 2005, it appears Heim had testified against her ex-husband and friends during a methamphetimine lab trial. Since Heim had testified against her former husband and his drug business associates at thier trial, she may have made some bad enemies. From an Appeal Document , it appears the people who Karen testified against are appealing thier sentences and are still out on thier bail. Thier names are: Morgan Earl Windrix, David Allen Westcott, and Charles Arnold Mook. Read the entire Appeals document, it gives a good look as to what kind of operation she testified against. This happened in Osage County, Oklahoma. For anyone familiar with Osage County, unsolved murders and disappearances are abundant. I am not knocking the current Sheriff or recent past Sheriffs, I think they have rehauled the county's Sheriff Department and are doing a fair job these days. It is a huge county which also includes North Tulsa, the not-so-pleasant part of the city. I emailed NewsChannel 8 Tulsa OK - Karen Jackson after reading her article she had written about Heim. Jackson was not aware of the appeals document and that the people Heim testified against were out on bail during Heim's disappearance. I hope whoever is responsible for investigating Heim's disappearance is giving that fact a lot of thought.....

The idea that Heim, a recovering meth addict, just went off and disappeared on her own or ended her life by her own hand, is a possibility. A very small possibility I feel-but we never really know what is going on inside of another person's mind. Heim had battled depression in the past. A condition no doubt caused by the meth use that depleted her brains 'feel good' chemical balances. Even knowing this, I still think Heim has met with foul play and that foul play is very connected to the appeals document above.
