Jamie Bolin, Part II

Since Jamie has been found, and the circumstances in which she was horribly murdered have become known, I decided it was best to write another post, Part II. You can read my origonal post here:

10yo Jamie Bolin's body was found with deep saw marks on her neck, said authorities, they also allege that her killer had planned to dismember her and eat her flesh. Sickening. I was sitting here thinking WTF?! Where do these sickos come from ...........? it was a question I already know the answer to.

Jamie's downstairs neighbor, 26 yo Kevin Ray Underwood, was arrested friday after investigators found Jamie's body in the closet of a bedroom in his apartment. Jamie's unclothed body was inside a large plastic tub, with a towel used to soak up blood. Police think Underwood the killer hit her several times with a wooden cutting board, then placed his hand and duct tape over her mouth to suffocate her. She was sexually assaulted after she died. A preliminary autopsy report said Jamie died from blunt force trauma to the head and asphyxiation.

Underwood told police he began fantasizing about eating someone a year ago. Authorities believe "that while she was ultimately chosen to be the victim of this horrific crime, that other people had been targeted and considered," including a woman and a 5-year-old boy. "Regarding a potential motive, this appears to have been part of a plan to kidnap a person, rape them, torture them, kill them, cut off their head, drain the body of blood, rape the corpse, eat the corpse, then dispose of the organs and bones," the police chief said. OSBI agents seized a decorative dagger, a hack saw, duct tape, meat tenderizer, barbecue skewers, a duffel bag, the cutting board, a computer, and a videotape about a serial killer. Underwood is being in the McClain County Jail on a complaint of first-degree murder. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.

Jamie's family is sickened and in shock over her horrific murder, and the fact the killer was thier own downstairs neighbor. Jamies father has been sedated, his loved ones say this tragedy will most likely have ruined his life. He and Jamies mother seperated years ago. Jamie lived with her father and grandmother, Jamie's mother is a truck driver out of OKC.

Underwood has no apparent criminal record. It isint known whether Underwood had a history of mental illness, but The DA expects mental competency to be an issue at trial. Well, I'd be shocked if it was not! But I still think this creep is not crazy enough to be not guilty by reason of insanity. Police have said this crime was well thought out and planned, not a spur of the moment type.........as far as I am concerned, that means he knew what he was doing, obviously knows it is wrong, but commits a henious murder anyhow. I hope Underwood just confesses and saves this poor girl's family the further heartbreak of a trial...............................more later.

Alleged child murderer Underwood, reported to Law Enforcement, Jamie screamed "numerous times." It was unclear how her cries apparently went unheard. "She pled for her life," and "The first thing out of her mouth when he first hit her was, 'I'm sorry.' " "She pled for her life," he said. Authorities believe Jamie did not die immediately. This makes me SICK, that poor child, she did nothing wrong, she begged for her life and this filth did not stop killing her...I'd love about 30 minutes with Underwood, to make him beg for his life, only to be ignored........

Law enforcement thinks she was killed before police were notified that she had disappeared. Police suspect she was selected just because she walked past Underwood's apartment on Wednesday. The two were acquainted, police said. Underwood had a pet rat that would sit on his shoulder, and Jamie had previously seen and petted it.

How does an officer approach a family in a time like this and report the details of thier child's awful murder, and the 'plan' behind the entire horrible crime that was based on cannibalism? What parent could cope without being sedated? I cannot imagine.......................

Jamie was a beautiful, smiling and loving red-headed little girl who loved barbie dolls, she came from a family who loved her very much. It is written in several news articles that her father's life literally evolved around his daughter, and now since she has been so brutally taken away, he may never recover from this tragedy.
