Missing, Sarah Murrell, 6 years old *UPDATE* FOUND SAFE

Sneedville, TN , 6 year old Sarah Murrell was last seen playing in the back of a pickup truck at her home on Byrd Creed Road in the Eidson community. That was about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, 4/4/06. The search initially centered around her home which is close to Clinch High School.

Sarah is 3'6", 50 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing blue jeans and a long sleeve flannel orange and pink shirt. Temperatures in Sarah's area were in the mid-30s overnite. Her puppy is also missing.

However, there is no AMBER Alert in this case because detectives do not believe she was abducted. Why does Law Enforcement think 'she was not abducted'? How can they make this assumption? and what evidence points to other circumstances? Is there already a suspect, a caregiver, loved one, parent involved? Do they think Sarah and her puppy wandered off?

When I read this statement: "The girl's aunt said the search would resume at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday when the sun came up." I immediately wondered why they were not searching overnite for Sarah? How can they just stop searching because it became dark?!?!!

She is such a tiny girl, I truly hope she is found soon, safe and unharmed.

Here are the numbers to call if you have any information:

Sarah has been found and she is just FINE! woohoo!!! I am so happy this story had a happy ending. Sarah was taken to a Hawkins County hospital but only seemed to have some scratches. She was found a few hours ago curled up under a tree with her dog named 'Sky" about 1/2 mile from her home. She told the searcher she was lost.
